Bacon Cheddar Mac & Cheese
Ingredients
- 2 cups elbow macaroni noodles
- 4 cups water
- 1 tsp salt
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tbsp seasoning (e.g., Bacon Cheddar Seasoning)
- 1 cup cream cheese (use whipped cream cheese for a creamier mac and cheese)
- 1/4 cup heavy cream (optional)
Procedure
- In a medium pot, bring water to a boil with salt.
- Add macaroni noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
- Reduce heat to low. Add cream cheese and bacon cheddar seasoning, stirring until cream cheese is melted and incorporated.
- Gradually stir in milk until sauce is creamy and smooth.
- If using, stir in heavy cream until desired consistency is reached.
- Serve hot.
