Lemon Butter Salmon
Grilled Salmon
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillet
- 2 tsp seasoning of choice
- Oil as needed
Procedure
- Season salmon fillet with seasoning.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Brush grill grates lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
- Grill salmon skin side down first, for about 4-5 minutes.
- Carefully flip and grill for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through
and flakes easily with a fork. - Serve hot.
Salmon Reverse Sear
Ingredients
- 1 lb salmon fillet
- Parchment paper large square
- 1 tbsp seasoning of choice
- 1/4 cup white wine
- 1/4 stick cold butter
Procedure
- Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
- Season salmon with seasoning and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Pour white wine over the salmon.
- Fold parchment paper over salmon
- Bake in the oven for 7 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little oil.
- Carefully transfer salmon from the oven to the hot pan, skin side up.
- Cook for 2 minutes until the fillet is browned.
- Remove salmon from pan and set aside.
- Add cold butter to the pan with the wine sauce, swirl until melted and
combined. - Pour the butter sauce over the salmon and serve immediately.
