Lemon Butter Salmon

Grilled Salmon

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • 2 tsp seasoning of choice
  • Oil as needed

Procedure

  1. Season salmon fillet with seasoning.
  2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  3. Brush grill grates lightly with oil to prevent sticking.
  4. Grill salmon skin side down first, for about 4-5 minutes.
  5. Carefully flip and grill for another 3-4 minutes, or until cooked through
    and flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Serve hot.

Salmon Reverse Sear

Ingredients

  • 1 lb salmon fillet
  • Parchment paper large square
  • 1 tbsp seasoning of choice
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 stick cold butter

Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 275°F (135°C).
  2. Season salmon with seasoning and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  3. Pour white wine over the salmon.
  4. Fold parchment paper over salmon
  5. Bake in the oven for 7 minutes.
  6. Heat a pan over medium-high heat with a little oil.
  7. Carefully transfer salmon from the oven to the hot pan, skin side up.
  8. Cook for 2 minutes until the fillet is browned.
  9. Remove salmon from pan and set aside.
  10. Add cold butter to the pan with the wine sauce, swirl until melted and
    combined.
  11. Pour the butter sauce over the salmon and serve immediately.
