Bacon Cheddar Sliders

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef or turkey
  • 1 cup cooked chopped onions (cooked until translucent)
  • 2 tbsp mustard
  • ¼ cup ketchup 
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise 
  • 3 tbsp Bacon Cheddar Seasoning
  • ¼ cup bread crumbs or panko
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 7 oz sliced Cheddar cheese
  • 12 pack slider buns or dinner rolls

Procedure

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Sauté chopped onions until translucent put to side
  3. In a large mixing bowl mix Maple Rosemary Seasoning, mustard, ketchup, and onions into ground beef until well combined.
  4. In a large heated pan cook mixture until ground beef is cooked (165 degrees) stirring frequently drain fat when done
  5. In a different large metal bowl beat one egg and then add cooked ground beef mixture
  6. Mix well and add panko or breadcrumbs to thicken mixture
  7. Take out entire pack of buns intact and Cut slider buns in half width wise with a long bread knife.
  8. Place bottom of buns on a parchment lined sheet pan
  9. Add finished beef mixture to bottom side of cut buns.
  10. Add Gouda cheese to top off beef mixture place top slider buns back on top.
  11. Cook in preheated oven for 8 minutes with a large cutting board ready pull out and slide parchment paper with sliders on cutting board
  12. Cut to desired size and serve
