Lemon Butter Halibut/Cod
Ingredients
- 1 lb white fish fillet
- 2 tsp seasoning of Lemon Butter
- Pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp white wine (optional)
- 1 tbsp cold butter (optional)
- ½ tsp Lemon Butter seasoning (optional)
Procedure
- Season cod fillet with seasoning and pepper.
- Heat a large oiled pan or cast iron over medium heat.
- Add fish fillet to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Optional: Deglaze the pan with white wine, stir in cold butter and seasoning until melted and sauce is formed.
- Serve hot.
