Lemon Butter Halibut/Cod

Ingredients

  • 1 lb white fish fillet
  • 2 tsp seasoning of Lemon Butter
  • Pepper to taste
  • 2 tbsp white wine (optional)
  • 1 tbsp cold butter (optional)
  • ½ tsp Lemon Butter seasoning (optional)

Procedure

  1. Season cod fillet with seasoning and pepper.
  2. Heat a large oiled pan or cast iron over medium heat.
  3. Add fish fillet to the pan and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until fish is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Optional: Deglaze the pan with white wine, stir in cold butter and seasoning until melted and sauce is formed.
  5. Serve hot.
